Thessaloniki Day 5: Baetrip
After a good night’s sleep, we started packing our bags and walked towards our first destination, the One Salonica Outlet Mall. It’s a building with two floors of outlet stores, one floor of grocerie stores and a floor with a foodcourt and a cinema. After some time spent shopping, we ended up in this greek grill place called Savvikos. My girlfriend took the queen salad with some pita bread and I took the classic burger with french fries and extra burger sauce. The fries were suprisingly delicious. My girlfriend ended up taking the nutella and pecanuts minibons from Cinnabon.
Once our bellies were filled with deliciousness, we got back to our loft and took a little break. We couldn’t walk anymore because we suffered from a food coma.
Next up we took another trip to the pier. On day two we saw some tourships right beside the white tower. They take you on a 30min trip around the bay of Thessaloniki. We took one at night to see the pier with all the lights. The boat trip itself was very cheap as you only had to buy one consumption to aboard the ship. We both took a mojito which costed €10 each. You got a large glass filled with a great deal of alcohol. I can assure you, the trip home was made a 100 times more interesting because of it. On our way back to the loft, we found some pretty interesting streets filled with a cosy crowd of people and beautiful street lights. I took some pictures because I was mesmerized by its beauty.
